Our Home
Carlton House has 39 bedrooms, all single rooms, some of which have en-suite facilities.
There are 10 rooms on the ground floor, 2 of which have an en-suite. There are 18 on the first floor, the majority of which have en- suite with further development planned, 11 rooms with en-suite are available on the second floor.
There are three lounges and a separate dining room all of which have gas central heating. Residents are encouraged to use these rooms although for those who choose to stay in their own rooms they may do so.
There is a passenger lift to all floors.
Bedrooms
Due to the rich history of the Home each room is unique in size, shape and we can therefore cater to a variety of budgets. Each room is furnished with equipment to assure comfort and privacy to meet the needs of the individual resident.
Lounges
Communal areas include two ground floor lounges, one small top floor lounge with private dining area, a large ground floor dining room/day room and a large secure garden. These are available for everyone’s use and enjoyment.
Dining room
Our attractive dining room offers a tempting and varied menu of home cooked food, freshly prepared from local produce where possible.
Individual tastes are taken into consideration and all special diets are catered for.
Garden
As well as our comfortable interior facilities Carlton House offer lovely gardens and comfortable seating areas, ideal for sitting out and enjoying the fresh air either alone of with friends and family.
